How Do You Learn Reiki, you don’t actually have to learn Reiki, when you attend a Reiki Class, you are attuned to the Reiki energy by a person who is a Reiki Master. The Reiki Master uses the Master Symbol to open your body or attune your body to the Reiki energy and once it is done, it is done and in all my years I have not had one person that was not channelling Reiki after the attunement process. I promise you that once attuned it is done and it will be with you forever.
The purpose of the Reiki Class is to attune you to Reiki and show you how we apply it to people who wish to receive a Reiki healing. You will also be taught how to treat yourself with Reiki and if you learn with me, you will be shown that there are no limits to what you can do with Reiki.
To some people, the attunement process sounds a little out there and that is fine, you cannot expect anyone to believe what they have not seen or experienced. When I first became a Reiki Master, I conducted a little experiment of my own on 2 ladies that had come to learn Reiki with me. During the attunement process, I attuned one and not the other. Then once the process was over I took them into the healing room where they would give Reiki to each other. The method of teaching I follow is designed to show the Reiki energy to a newly attuned person and the way I do that is to get them to give Reiki to each other and remove myself from the room. Once they have given each other Reiki, I sit them down and get them to share their experience. Usually, it starts off with the person who received the Reiki describing common traits Reiki produces. For example, hot hands and tingling sensations are the first 2 that always come up.
In the case of these 2 lovely and unsuspecting First Degree Reiki students, the one that had not been attuned yet received a Reiki healing from the other lady commented on how hot her hands felt and how wonderful and relaxed she felt. Then when the roles were reversed and the lady who had not been attuned treated her friend with what she thought was Reiki reported that she felt nothing. No sensation of heat or tingling in her hands, nothing. Her friend felt nothing as well and my mind was then made up that Reiki was far more than anything in the mind. I subsequently attuned them both again and both gave the same feedback. Both now had the hot tingly hands.
After all these years I have witnessed many amazing things with Reiki and it still astounds me to this day. Honestly, if you are considering Reiki, follow your heart and it will guide you to the right person to teach you and I guarantee you, your life will be different from that point on. In my opinion, it is the most wonderful thing you can do in this lifetime.
